The Golden Fairy
'BRODOSPLIT' wins Prijedor

International Choir Festival "Golden fairy" in Prijedor was very successful for Split chorus "Brodosplit." In the competition of choirs from Ukraine, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia, Municipal Choir "Brodosplit", conducted by Vlado Sunko, won the first prize of the audience for experiencing the artistic completeness and the cash prize and two special awards of the jury for the best performance of the composition written by an old masters and the best performance of domestic composition ...
..."Brodosplit" presented the compositions from the period of old masters to the period of modernism, with soloists Ivan Bošnjak, baritone, and Ivan Žitko, tenor.
... We are surprised with audience warm reception, it felt like they "breathe" with us for the whole our performance, what confirms the high level of choral culture. Theater was filled to full capacity, while many interested viewers stayed behind closed doors, that is another confirmation of the excellent organization - said the maestro Vlado Sunko.
Brodosplit got ovations and congratulations from representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church that, delighted with their performance, unreservedly opened the doors of their churches in Belgrade and sent an open invitation to visit Serbia soon.
